| Danny Kelley
 |
Acoustic Guitar
- Danny Kelley was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 20,
1956. Graduated from Garrison Texas High School in 1975.
Danny recieved his first guitar at thirteen as a Christmas
present from his parents. Having never been bashful, he
started singing at age 14 in his church. He played bass
guitar in a gospel quartet, and The Travelers Quartet at age
15. He joined the United States Air Force fresh out of high
school. Most of Danny's military time was spent in upstate
New York where he joined a bluegrass band as the acoustic
player and lead singer. After leaving the military, he moved
to Livingston, Texas and joined a country band as the
drummer. He is currently involved with Kasey Lansdale and
the Daletones as the acoustic guitarist. Music has always
been a part of his life and hopes that it continues to be. |

| Bill Scott
 |
Bass - Bill
Scott lives in Lindale, Texas. Bill has been touring,
recording, teaching and performing professionally for over
20 years. He got his first gig as a solo trombonist at his
local church when he was 11 years old and performed “Tis So
Sweet to Trust in Jesus”. He still believes in that song.
Since that first job, Bill has performed everywhere from
Gruene Hall, to the Super Bowl. Bill plays electric bass,
upright bass, keyboards and trombone in which he holds two
degrees. He studied music at the University of Louisiana at
Monroe, Southern Arkansas University and the University of
North Texas. Bill was raised around musical influences that
include country, gospel, blues, classical, rock, jazz and
folk. His performance and recording credits include such
artists as Kasey Lansdale, Miranda Lambert, Gary Ritchey, Ed
Kerr, Paul Baloche and numerous other artists. He also has
performed with jazz musicians such as the late great
educator and performer, Darrell Holt. Currently, he is
thrilled to be a part of Kasey Lansdale and the Daletones
and hopes to see you at their next event. |

| Jeff Shelton

Drums - Jeff
Shelton
began playing drums at the age of seven. His first
performances were at church and with his father's gospel
quartet. Jeff has performed and recorded with a variety of
artists in the East Texas area, including George Faber,
Darrell Holt, Lobo Loggins and John Ray Baxter, Larry Greer
and Shades of Blue, Shaune Martinez, Perry Coleman, and Gary
Ritchey. Jeff thrives on the challenge of fitting into
numerous musical situations and loves playing all styles of
music. Music is one of God's greatest gifts, and Jeff is
thankful for the opportunities he has been given to use his
talents. |

| Chris
Watlington
 |
Keyboard - Chris
Watlington has spent his life working at two things:
teaching and performing. As a teacher, he prepared as a
graduate of Center High School and Stephen F. Austin State
University with degrees and certificates in English,
History, and Theatre. He has taught at his high school alma
mater since 1991 as an English and Theatre instructor and
debate coach. One of his students recently gave him props:
“Mr. Watlington be teaching me ever thing I no about reading
and speling and stuff like dat.”
As a performer, Chris spent five years with the Dallas based
comedy troupe Rubber Chicken and The Village
Idiots. He was the keyboard player for the contemporary
Christian group The Gary Ritchey Band where he began
his creative collaboration with fellow Daletones Bill
Scott, Jeff Shelton, and Spence Peppard. He and Bill spent
a good part of 2003 as part of the pre-Kerosene
Miranda Lambert band. In addition, Chris has authored or
co-authored several musicals and plays for local, college,
and professional theatres.
He lives in Center with his wife Kathy and his two sons
Keaton and Jack Callen. |
